Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center was honored to have a visit by HRH Princess Madeleine of Sweden on February 24, 2017. Princess Madeleine was accompanied by Dr. Joanna Rubinstein, the President and CEO of the World Childhood Foundation USA. They toured the Center with Dr. Anne Nucci-Sack, medical director, and met with the Center’s director, Dr. Angela Diaz, Dr. Matt Oransky, and two young people, Becky and Reba, who shared their life challenges.
HRH Princess Madeleine is interested in helping children at risk of sexual abuse or exploitation around the world and works actively with World Childhood Foundation, which was founded in 1999 by her mother, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. The Foundation supports currently more than 100 projects in 17 countries. Pictured from left are Becky, Princess Madeleine and Reba.
