Someone to Talk to

Whatever’s going on in your life—and whatever’s going wrong—there’s someone here to listen and help, with compassion and confidentiality. Here are the kinds of things our teens tell us when they need someone to talk to:

  • I feel like hurting myself
  • I’m in a bad relationship
  • I’m bored
  • My family has issues
  • I have legal problems
  • My family is undocumented
  • I’m lonely
  • I’m getting pressured to have sex or do drugs
  • I feel like I’m different from everyone else
  • No one understands me
  • Will I ever be happy?
  • I don’t know how to control my anger
  • I’m not doing well in school
  • I blame myself for everything
