The Office of Adolescent Health has released its latest Think, Act, Grow® (TAG) Talk video, which features Angela Diaz, MD, PhD, MPH, director of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. In “Adolescent-Centered Healthcare: The Mount Sinai Model,” Dr. Diaz discusses the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center’s innovative model for integrated care, why adolescents need care geared toward their specific needs, and how health care providers can create an adolescent- and young adult-friendly culture. She also addresses the specific needs of young survivors of trauma, including sex trafficking. Accompanying discussion guides can help providers and families deepen their understanding of these issues.
